Please visit the venue website for details of how to get here.

Parking: This venue has free parking.

On arrival, coaches will be able to drop off outside the Queen Mother Stand. Coaches staying onsite during the event will be asked to proceed to the coach park adjacent to the venue to park during the day.

Please note that the drop-off area for coaches is on the main thoroughfare for the site, so vehicles will not be able to wait in this area. Teachers are kindly requested to take their group directly into the registration area in the Queen Mother Stand on arrival. If teachers need to give their groups instructions for the day we ask that this is completed prior to arrival.

To ensure a safe and efficient departure, please note that at the end of the event attendees will be asked to meet their coaches in the coach park adjacent to the venue. Parking is a 5-20 minute walk from the area where our event is being held and Oxford and Cambridge staff will be available to show attendees the walking route.

Please do not organise to meet your students at the Queen Mother Stand, as this area will close promptly at 2.45pm. If you wish to meet your group before walking to the coach parking, please use the coloured meeting points available on the day; in the final information email sent to teachers prior to the event, school groups will be allocated a coloured meeting flag. Only attendees with mobility needs will be able to be picked up directly outside the Queen Mother Stand.

St James' Park, Newcastle-  Thursday 22 March 2018

Newcastle Risk Assessment

Newcastle Draft Timetable

Travel Information

Attendees are strongly encouraged to travel by public transport to this event.

If you do plan on driving, the postcode of St James’ Park is NE1 4ST.

The car parking areas are accessed from Barrack Road. At the traffic lights, turn into the ground and drive straightforward, past a multi-deck car park on your left. You will then see a sign for “Conference & Banqueting Car Parking”. Follow the arrow down the road, as it curves to the left and it will then lead you into a multi-storey car park. Guests are free to park on level ONE. Levels two and above are not owned by St James’ Park so parking there is not permitted.

Should the unlikely event occur, of level one of the multi-storey being full, guests are asked to use the pay and display multi-deck car park as previously mentioned. There is a cost of 70p per hour.

Please note all other parking spaces in the ground, other than those mentioned above on level one of the multi-storey, are owned by the City Council and you do require either a permit or a ticket to park there.

Newcastle United will not be held responsible for any parking tickets received by conference and banqueting guests whilst attending events here.

Should guests require disabled car parking, the City Council bays are available on the outskirts of the multi-storey, on the ground level. However it is possible for us to make other arrangements for disabled guests, given prior notice.

Parking: St James' Park has no on-site coach parking. The car parking information outlined above details limited onsite car parking only. Please note, the pay and display charges may vary from the stated prices.

Those attending the Newcastle Student Conference who have access requirements should contact by Monday 5 March 2018 to ensure appropriate parking is available.
