Sutton Trust Teacher Residential: STEM subjects

Two-day residential event in Cambridge. Applications are welcomed from any UK state-maintained school or college. The teacher does not have to have leadership responsibility within the school, but should be in a position to share their experiences with other staff for the benefit of their students. Applications to attend should be endorsed by a member of the school/college Senior Leadership Team.

The Teacher Residential runs alongside the Sutton Trust Summer Schools for Year 12 students. The events will include:

  • observation of some student Summer School sessions
  • subject sessions on supporting super-curricular learning for highly able students
  • sessions on supporting students who are applying to highly selective institutions
  • a chance for networking and sharing good practice with other practitioners.

Participation in the Teacher Residential is free, and reasonable expenses will be covered. This includes the costs to schools and colleges associated with teacher release for the events which fall during school/college term time, and transport costs.

Applications for this event close on Wednesday 8 June at 17:00.

For more information, including the application form and selection criteria, please see the Sutton Trust Teacher Residentials webpage.
