The Oxford and Cambridge Information Days are a series of events organised by Downing College and our Oxford counterparts – Exeter and Merton Colleges – aimed to support Year 12 students in our link areas to make competitive applications to either university.
This event is for state sector schools and students in our South West link areas of Cornwall, Devon, and Dorset. They are half day conference events aimed at helping students learn more about:
- The Oxford and Cambridge Admissions Process
- Personal Statements
- Admissions Assessments
- Student life
There are also a parallel session for for teachers, staff and careers advisers, who will be able to talk to college staff and admissions tutors.
The day usually lasts around three hours, and is being hosted in 8 locations across the South West.

20th April: Bournemouth (Bournemouth and Poole College)
