Are you interested in the world of finance and want a real insight into studying Economics at university? Would you like to find out more about what studying Economics at the University of Cambridge entails? Do you want the chance to live like a Cambridge student for the day by experiencing taster lectures and meeting current undergraduate students? If so, why not sign up for the Economics Taster Day where you will be able to find out more about studying Economics at Cambridge and about applying to the university!
This event is aimed at Year 12 students and will offer prospective applicants the chance to meet current students, Economics academics and the College's Admissions Director, giving attendees the opportunity to ask any burning questions they have in an informal setting. The day will run from 10.00 to 15.30 and will include taster lectures, a tour of Sidney Sussex and a talk on applications to the university. We will circulate the programme to attendees once we have confirmed places.
Please complete the booking form if you would like to book a place. The deadline for applications is noon on Wednesday 14th June 2017. Decisions will be sent out by 5pm on Wednesday 14th June 2017.
Please note that we will only accept bookings made by individuals. Booking forms completed on someone else's behalf will not be considered. In the event of over subscription, priority will be given to attendees from maintained sector schools. We will also carefully consider any cases where five or more students from the same school wish to attend.
The event is free-of-charge and lunch will be provided.
