Residential Physics

This free 2 night residential boot camp will be an intense workout to practise the physics concepts that you will need to get good grades in your exams. We will work with our mastering physics books (with sessions led by the author) and extend beyond these questions to develop your confidence in core topics. Experienced teachers and members of the Isaac Physics team will be on hand through out to provide small group support.

Target Audience / Eligibility:

This residential is specifically for students who are studying A-level Maths AND Physics (student do not have to be aiming for A* or A – students with ANY predicted grade can attend) at a state maintained school or college in England and in addition meet the one or more of the following criteria:

Would be in the first generation of their family to attend university

  • Have been eligible for one or more of free school meals, Pupil Premium, EMA and/or 16-19 bursary during secondary school
  • Attend a school or college with a below-average A-level or Higher point score and/or a low rate of progression to higher education
  • Come from a neighbourhood with a low rate of progression to higher education and/or a high level of socio-economic deprivation

Contributions to travel costs (up to £120) are available for students and will be allocated according to these eligibility criteria.

Students will be asked to complete a consent form (emailed to you), which they, their parents / guardians and a teacher must sign to give their consent for them to attend.
