About the conference
Are you an ambitious young Muslim who is currently thinking about options for higher education? Wondering if Oxford University is the right place for you? The Oxford Muslim Access Conference (OMAC) aims to provide year 11 and 12 students with an insight into life at Oxford, the application process, interviews, courses, and much more.
The day will consist of talks delivered by university admissions staff and scholars, subject specific workshops led by current undergraduates, student panels, and a chance to hear from alumni about where a degree at Oxford can take you in the future. From questions about financial support, moving away from home, and keeping faith, to potential social, cultural, and faith barriers, OMAC aims to provide a platform to tackle these hurdles head on.
