St Catharine's College is offering a taster day for Year 12 (and equivalent) students interested in studying Modern and Medieval Languages (MML) or Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic (ASNC) at Cambridge.
Both degrees allow students to explore history, languages and literature. This taster day will include sample lectures from Fellows of the College in both departments. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet current students, have a tour and lunch in St Catharine's, and hear an applications talk by an Admissions Tutor.
The day is open to high achieving students in the lower sixth (Year 12). Due to demand, we are asking teachers to nominate students they think would benefit most from the taster day. If you are a student and would like to come to this event, please ask a teacher to nominate you. If you are a recent school-leaver or if there is any other issue with being nominated by a teacher, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Teachers can nominate up to four students using the form on our website and rank them according to academic ability. A short statement can be included in support of each student. You can read our guidance on suitable nominees on our website.
The deadline for nominations is Friday 3rd May. The teacher of students invited to attend the taster day will hear from us by the middle of May.
If you have any questions about this event, please email Kathryn Singleton at email@example.com
