In July, three current students from King's College, Cambridge, ran a series of sessions in schools, which included activities covering topics such as subject choices, courses, and myths about studying at university. The project aimed to raise aspirations of gifted and talented Year 10 students in schools in Northumberland.
"The three students were entertaining, informative and pitched it at exactly the right level."
"The three of them were spot on and I know the students gained a great deal from the talk, both in terms of enhancing their knowledge of Cambridge and thinking more about university in general."
"This was an excellent, interactive session which the students found really useful."
"It gave them information to make an informed decision when choosing their options post 16."
